 The Bianchi Cup 2023

The Bianchi Cup 2023

42-05-1The Bianchi Cup is widely regarded as the most prestigious handgun tournament in the world. This match has never left its home range and has never changed the courses of fire. The challenge is derived from police training, and dates back to 1979. That history has led the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) to take ownership and direction of the match moving forward.

42-05-3And, so we’re at the Green Valley Gun Club in Columbia, Missouri, for the 2023 event along with the ever-famous four stages of fire: The Practical… The Falling Plates… The Barricade… and The Mover.

The CMP is actively engaged in growing the Bianchi competition through Action Pistol Shooting and by growing the ranks of first-time shooters and Junior shooters.

History’s Guns - The French 75

42-05-2One artillery piece in particular would earn tremendous respect on the battlefield in World War I, become a national icon and the stuff of legends. The mobile French 75mm cannon is now one of History’s Guns. More than twenty one thousand French Seventy Fives were produced between eighteen ninety seven and nineteen forty, but even so, it is very difficult to find one that isn’t rusting monument or museum piece.

Hornady Pandemic in the Heartland

42-05-5It’s the eleventh year for the Hornady Pandemic in The Heartland, it’s a one-of-a-kind themed Multi-Gun Match and it’s as popular now as it has ever been. The themed courses of fire are challenging for the elite and designed to be do-able for the brand-new competitors. Third and Fourth generation Hornadys are in the range together for a little family fun and competition.
