The Precision Rifle Series, or PRS, is the competition governing body that has established rules for Long Range Precision Rifle competition. In ten years, they have grown exponentially, not only in the United States but also internationally. The PRS also collects results from local and regional competitions to establish a world leader board to invite the top competitors to the Finale at the K and M Precision ranges in Finger, Tennessee. The Precision Rifle Series collects scoring information and results regional from competitions to compile a ranked world leader board over the course of an annual season of competition. The end result is invitations for the top competitors from the season to the Finale at K & M Precision in Finger Tennessee.
The PRS is now in more than 14 foreign countries. With travel restrictions relaxing this year, several have made it to K & M to meet the finale challenges. The state-of-the-art facility that is K & M Precision Rifle Training is second to none in the United States, but also the world.
At the beginning of WWII, the United States saw the obvious advantage in arming its troops with a small, full auto, pistol caliber firearm that could be mass produced cheaply and easily. They named it the M3 Submachine Gun, but for a generation of young men more accustomed to working on cars than fighting the Nazis, it looked like something very different.
