Sighting In with Shooting USA – HAVA and Ron Ehlert Profile
First we’re pig hunting with wounded warriors from Afghanistan and Iraq. It’s a new program called HAVA – Honored American Veterans Afield. A group of Firearms Industry Companies have combined to help vets get back to enjoying life as sportsmen.
We’re taking you along on the first hunt in Texas as the beginning of what may become a nation-wide program helping wounded vets.

Shooting USA Profile - Ron Ehlert

The world of antique firearms lost a master craftsman this year with the death of Ron Ehlert. He was a master gunsmith and enjoyed teaching his craft to hundreds of students over the years. His works are shown in museums and in collections around the world.

We were fortunate to be able to spend some time with him at his gun shop in rural Tennessee.
